Wild Atlantic Way - Donegal Part2

Continuing my photo series along The Wild Atlantic Way. This time I revisit the spectacular county of Donegal, for a wildcamp and few photo stops on the Inishowen peninsula. I got to take a photo of the start/finish line of the 2500km long way marked Wild Atlantic Way. Malin Head turned out to be a revelation so much to see that a day and night could not do it justice, its little wonder Star Wars chose it as one of its filming locations. I will have to go back!!

Ha'penny Bridge Dublin

As dusk began to settle the sky started to turn deeper shade of blue. This is the perfect time for city images I think, I'm drawn to the lights and the blue at this hour moreso than an inky black dark sky. The Halfpenny bridge looks glorious at this time of day.

Bluebell Photography

Around this time every year end April through to mid/end May forest floors come alive with colour, wild garlic and bluebells create a very different look to the often brown rotting leaves that lay around the forest. A great time to get out with the camera and photograph nature.

Join me on a new photo series as I embark on The Wild Atlantic Way journey. First stop Donegal, in the Northwest of the country, and what a fantastic place to start. The scenery is rugged, beautiful, magnificent, so many different words could describe the place. It's no wonder Lonely Planet voted Donegal the coolest place to visit on the planet in 2017

The Wild Atlantic Way

The Wild Atlantic Way, an epic road trip through beautiful landscapes, including the highest sea cliffs in Europe, golden sandy beaches, and lakeland areas. I hope this year to spend some time travelling this epic 2,500 km route and photographing sunsets and sunrises, whilst camping in the most remote and beautiful locations on this Earth.
