Wild Atlantic Way - Donegal Part2

Continuing my photo series along The Wild Atlantic Way. This time I revisit the spectacular county of Donegal, for a wildcamp and few photo stops on the Inishowen peninsula. I got to take a photo of the start/finish line of the 2500km long way marked Wild Atlantic Way. Malin Head turned out to be a revelation so much to see that a day and night could not do it justice, its little wonder Star Wars chose it as one of its filming locations. I will have to go back!!

Ha'penny Bridge Dublin

As dusk began to settle the sky started to turn deeper shade of blue. This is the perfect time for city images I think, I'm drawn to the lights and the blue at this hour moreso than an inky black dark sky. The Halfpenny bridge looks glorious at this time of day.

Wild Atlantic Way

Since my last trip to Donegal I've been struggling to get time, with work and family commitments, to continue my journey along the wild atlantic way, an amazing coastal route that crosses nine counties and some of the most incredible scenery available in Ireland. Wild Atlantic Way - Donegal

Join me on a new photo series as I embark on The Wild Atlantic Way journey. First stop Donegal, in the Northwest of the country, and what a fantastic place to start. The scenery is rugged, beautiful, magnificent, so many different words could describe the place. It's no wonder Lonely Planet voted Donegal the coolest place to visit on the planet in 2017

The Wild Atlantic Way

The Wild Atlantic Way, an epic road trip through beautiful landscapes, including the highest sea cliffs in Europe, golden sandy beaches, and lakeland areas. I hope this year to spend some time travelling this epic 2,500 km route and photographing sunsets and sunrises, whilst camping in the most remote and beautiful locations on this Earth. Hopefully sharing the photographs as they happen. More on this to follow....

Dublin City. A photowalk at Night during Christmas.

Dublin glittering with the lights of Christmas, the merriment of revellers heading from pub to pub, and the shuffling of feet of the last minute shoppers. A wonderful time for a night time photo walk through the main shopping and tourist streets.  Jason Mac Cormac Photography.

Baily Lighthouse

Baily Lighthouse. I had an image in mind, a 5-6 shot panorama of Howth head with the rugged coastline as foreground. With no sunset i waited until the sky started to turn a deep blue as the darkness of night approached.
