Stephen's Green Shopping Centre
by Jason Mac Cormac Photography
It is great to know that there are business out there with integrity.
Recently I got a call from a marketing co. the Dublin branch of a huge creative Ogilvy. Their design team were working on a design for a Christmas campaign, which is now live, for Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre. They found some of my images online and felt they might fit perfectly as part of a composite.
Ogilvy sought me out and asked would I be interested in allowing them use the image for a fee, not for free or for exposure as other large businesses I have heard tales of might have done, no Ogilvy were happy to pay for the use of the image if the client approved the final composite. We settled on the details and sure enough the client was happy as the scene depicted the shopping centre in the Christmas lighting, the inclusions of the new tram line outside I think certainly helped as can be seen below.
As a small guy trying to get a small business and small extra income off the ground I really appreciated their professional approach and hope perhaps some day they may need additional photography for future projects. Big shout out to the team at Ogilvy!!
