The iconic Ha'penny or Halfpenny bridge in Dublin City. Close in shot featuring the famous bridge and the equally well known Merchants Arch, and its namesake the Merchants Bar, a great spot for a pint some food and great traditional music.
My first printed calendar. I’ve painstakingly selected 12 monthly images plus a cover image to represent some of my personal favourite landscape images. Many of these I have captured within the last year. A3 printed calendar (297x420mm).
**** the first 50 sold will receive a limited edition 12x8 inch print from my Wild Atlantic Way series ****
Fanad Head Lighthouse in County Donegal, a signature stop on the Wild Atlantic Way. I captured this image after sunset with the moon rising. The wide angle lens emphasising the rugged nature of Fanad with the barren rocks as foreground and the the inlets providing pleasing composition leading to the lighthouse.
A location I always like to visit, especially at blue hour when the water is still. The reflections of our beautiful city in the Liffey can be amazing. This photo is a little unusual in that the bridge was cordoned off and a massive hoist had workers fixing the light on top of the Samuel Beckett Bridge.
A little secret location in Dublin, the Diving Bell. I like the quite graphic nature of the text and the colour contrast between the sign and lit path against the blue evening sky and the Samuel Beckett Bridge.
Black and White image of Fanad Head Lighthouse in County Donegal, a signature stop on the Wild Atlantic Way. I captured this image after sunset with the moon rising. The wide angle lens emphasising the rugged nature of Fanad with the barren rocks as foreground and the the inlets providing pleasing composition leading to the lighthouse.
Early start to hike up to the top of Slieve League cliffs before sunrise and capture the cliffs lit by the full moon on the horizon as it made its nightly descent.
Lough Tay or the Guinness Lake in County Wicklow. Beautiful in the summer light the dark peat colour of the water, if topped with a white sandy beach. Luggala and Djouce mountains overlooking this picture postcard scene.
Beautiful little white washed cottage at the base of Carrawaystick mountain. The river that runs rright by the property in fact over its driveway is the perfect foreground with great reflections on a sunny day.
